Through integration with RingCentral, you can make phone calls and send SMS messages directly from stg-servisai-teststaging.kinsta.cloud.

User Permissions: Only users with a RingCentral account can use the integration.

Making phone calls with RingCentral

There are two ways to make calls using RingCentral within stg-servisai-teststaging.kinsta.cloud.

1. Click the Call button in the Quick Actions Menu above the Activity Timeline to open the RingCentral calling window.

Click the Keypad button in the calling window, enter the number, and click the call button.

Note: When entering a phone number, include the country code.

2. Click any phone number in a stg-servisai-teststaging.kinsta.cloud record to open the calling window with the number pre-filled. Click the call button to place the call.

 

SMS messaging with RingCentral

There are two ways to send SMS messages using RingCentral within stg-servisai-teststaging.kinsta.cloud.

1. Click the Text button in the Quick Actions Menu above the Activity Timeline to open the messaging window.

2. Hover over any phone number in a stg-servisai-teststaging.kinsta.cloud record to reveal the messaging icon.

Click the messaging icon to open the messaging window.

Use the message bar at the bottom of the window to compose your message.

Bulk messaging campaigns

You can send bulk messaging campaigns through stg-servisai-teststaging.kinsta.cloud using RingCentral. See our Text Campaigns article to learn more.

Prerequisite: You must have an authorized RingCentral account.

Sending a fax with RingCentral

You can send a fax using RingCentral from within stg-servisai-teststaging.kinsta.cloud.

Note: Fax functionality must be enabled. See the RingCentral Integration article.

Hover over any phone number in a record to display the fax icon.

Click the fax icon to open the fax window with the contact pre-filled.

Use the paperclip icon to attach files.

Click Send to queue the fax.

Note: Processing time depends on file size.

Supported file types for RingCentral fax

RingCentral fax supports the following file types:

  • pdf
  • doc, docx
  • xls, xlsx
  • ppt, pptx
  • gif
  • jpg, jpeg
  • csv

Automatic Processes and Events

When setting up your RingCentral integration in stg-servisai-teststaging.kinsta.cloud, the following events are automatically subscribed:
  • Missed calls
  • Inbound SMS
  • Inbound fax
These events create records in stg-servisai-teststaging.kinsta.cloud in real time.
 
A daily process also retrieves phone and SMS logs each night (based on your time zone) to organize records within stg-servisai-teststaging.kinsta.cloud.
